Our Shui Xian (also known as Water Sprite or Water Narcissus) has a smooth, spicy body. A delicious ‘cliff’ tea that has a flavour reminiscent of ripened plum, orchid flowers and ginger. This is balanced against mineral notes that leaves a velvety feeling on the palate and a persistent sweetness.
This tea is great to drink now but has the qualities to make an excellent aged tea. If stored well it will mellow and continue to develop its flavour profile.
Yan cha or ‘cliff tea’ is synonymous with the Wuyi mountain area. The oolong teas produced here carry a distinctive mineral flavour due to the rocky terrain in and around the tea gardens.

Wuyi Shan is a mountainous area that is naturally protected and provides favourable growing conditions. The region has relatively high humidity levels, high rainfall and fog is common. The tea bushes are around 80 years old.
Elevation: 400-500m
Our Shui Xian has a medium body that is smooth and well-balanced. Flavours reminiscent of plum, ginger and orchid make this an approachable and mellow rock oolong. This liquor leaves a definite creaminess in the mouth and a finish that is sweet and long.
