Tea is best enjoyed when it is fresh and the aromas and flavours are most vibrant. Tea quality will generally1 decline over time resulting in flat tasteless brews. You can prolong the life of your tea by keeping it away from its environmental enemies: moisture, heat, light and aromas. This is best achieved by storing your tea in an airtight container in a cool dark place away from kitchen aromas such as coffee and spices.
