Dark & fermented teas are a Chinese speciality. Pu er tea is the most well-known form of dark tea and originates in Yunnan, China. A unique process of microbial fermentation is used during the production of dark teas. The result is teas that are generally full-bodied and exhibit earthy tones and sweet, musky aromas.
