Assam Dejoo

Assam Dejoo is grown in the heart of Assam, India’s premier tea region, known for bold, full-bodied black teas. Sourced from the Dejoo estate, this tea showcases the local terroir — warm days, rich alluvial soils, and consistent rainfall — which contribute to deeply developed flavour and complexity in the leaf. Carefully withered and fully oxidised, this tea reflects both regional character and traditional orthodox processing.

This Assam brews to a rich, deep amber liquor with inviting aromas of toasted malt, warm spices, and a hint of woodiness. On the palate, the tea feels smooth and rounded, with underlying sweetness and an approachable brightness that lifts the cup. Its structure and clarity make it versatile — equally compelling with or without milk and sugar, and well suited to both morning energy and afternoon comfort.

Pairs beautifully with heartier breakfasts, milk-inclusive brews, and rusks or toast. Its bright finish makes it a satisfying choice with or without accompaniments.
