2012 Shou Mei Mini Tuocha

Shou Mei Mini Tuocha is crafted from Shou Mei — a classic white-tea varietal leaf — sourced from Fujian Province, China. These leaves are then transformed into mini tuocha, yielding a tea that is rich yet balanced. The pressed form also aids storage stability and gradual flavour release during brewing.

The liquor is deep amber with copper highlights, revealing an intriguing mix of dried herb, warm earth, and soft caramel sweetness. On the palate, this tea feels rich and textural, with a smooth, rounded mouthfeel that carries into a thoughtful, lingering finish. The pressed mini tuocha shape encourages gradual unfolding of character across multiple infusions — each steep reveals deeper layers of warmth, subtle sweetness, and structural nuance.

This mini tuocha pairs beautifully with subtly spiced baked goods, roasted nuts, or savoury indulgences. Its textural depth and lingering finish also make it a contemplative after-meal cup.
