A black tea grown and produced in Australia. Gentle malt aroma opens to a soft, rounded body with spice and wood notes, finishing with persistent sweetness and warmth.

Origin

From Arakai Estate in Bellthorpe, Queensland, this premium black tea reflects the temperate climate, fertile soil, and careful cultivation of Japanese varietals grown on this award-winning small estate. The current harvest blends leaves from late spring through summer and autumn for a rounded, expressive black tea that feels both approachable and substantial.

Tasting Notes

Arakai Estate Premium Black brews to a brilliant red liquor with a semi-sweet profile. The aroma combines cinnamon, malt, and subtle woodsy florals, giving way to a smooth, rounded mouthfeel. The finish is warm and lingering, making this tea well suited to a relaxed morning or afternoon cup.

This tea pairs beautifully with hearty breakfast foods, buttered breads, and subtly sweet pastries. The balance of spice, malt, and wood notes also makes it excellent on its own.
