Origin

This Taitung Oolong comes from Luye Township in Taitung County, Taiwan, a region gaining recognition for expressive and refined oolongs. Cultivated at mid-altitude elevations, the leaves for this tea are carefully processed to balance aromatic lift with textural depth — a hallmark of Taiwanese mountain oolong craftsmanship. Small-batch production and attentive oxidation allow the character of the terroir to shine through in every cup.

Sensory Profile

Honeyed · Weighty · Lingering

A lifted honeyed aroma opens into a rounded, weighty mouthfeel with a persistent, lasting finish.

Tasting Notes

The liquor is amber with a golden sheen, releasing inviting aromas of ripe orchard fruit and soft floral notes. On the palate, this oolong feels weighty yet refined, with gentle sweetness and a layered texture that evolves across successive infusions. The finish lingers, carrying hints of honey and mineral warmth that encourage further exploration.

This tea rewards attentive brewing and is equally compelling whether enjoyed as a solitary moment or shared with others.

Pairs beautifully with subtly sweet desserts or lightly spiced snacks, inviting interplay between texture, aroma, and finish.
