Processing highlights: Lumbini Tea Valley produce this tea using an orthodox manufacturing process. They select immature, undamaged green leaf before commencing the withering process. Rolling finalises the enzymatic breakdown of the withered leaf allowing oxidation to commence. The leaf is processed to ensure consistent, controlled oxidation occurs. Once completed, drying the tea leaves in a dryer to ensure moisture content drops below 3% for shelf stability. The teas are quality reviewed and graded according to their size, weight and shape. We have selected OP1 grade.
