This is a beautiful, naturally grown and processed sun-dried white tea with a deep golden yellow liquor. Vegetal notes reminiscent of toasted green beans and hints of peach. 

Plucked from wild grown tea bushes that are approximately 50-60 years old.

Origin: Hiroshima, Japan

Flavour profile:  Vegetal | Bamboo | Ocean Air

Processing:  The tea leaves are dried for 7-10 days on the beaches of Onomichi. Grown without pesticides and fertilisers.

Cultivar: Native Zarai Hamacha

Made in the tranquil Setouchi region and grown in the tea fields of Sera, Hiroshima Prefecture. The leaves are sun-dried in the sea breezes of Onomichi. A uniquely positioned inland beach with little wind and plenty of sun.

Our Hamacha White Tea is clean and fresh with herbaceous and vegetal notes reminiscent of green bamboo and beans. The impact of its outdoor beach withering is detected with a taste of ocean air.

Enjoyable for anytime of day. Drinks beautifully on its own and makes a fabulous cold brew option. 

Leaf appearance: loose Bancha with a green and brown mottled oxidation. 
Aroma: Notes of toasted green bean and fresh stone-fruit reminiscent of peach.
Liquor colour: Clear bright yellow liquor

Store in an airtight container away from light, heat and moisture.
