Our Shangri-La White is sweet and crisp producing a delightful infusion that has a fresh hay and delicate floral aroma with hints of fruit. This is a beautiful white tea with a golden liquor.
This is a wonderful representation of a Nepalese white tea and unique to this region. Finding unique expressions of terroir and providing our customers opportunities to taste these brings us great joy and we think this is a wonderful introduction to Nepali teas.

Processing highlights: This tea consists of young leaves and buds. After the selective plucking, the leaves are withered and dried in the sun.

Ilam has a subtropical-temperate climate in the Eastern Development region of Nepal. Considered an ideal tea-growing environment for the production of craft teas.

Our Shangri-La White carries a surprising strength and flavour for a white tea. There is a wonderful balance of floral and fruit notes that produce a sweet liquor. The tea leaves a crisp textured feeling in the mouth with a refreshing finish with a hint of apple and citrus.
This tea will pair well with vegetables, meats and fish. It also makes a great tea to pair with desserts including cheese. Try this tea with a cinnamon bun.
